...Flash Flood Watch in effect through the remainder of the
morning and this afternoon...

.Deep tropical moisture in place along with a retreating frontal
boundary over the watch area will maintain the threat for
additional heavy rainfall. With grounds saturated from previous
heavy rains, the potential exists for renewed flash flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of west central Louisiana and southeast Texas,
  including the following areas, in west central Louisiana,
  Vernon. In southeast Texas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern
  Newton, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton, and Tyler.

* Until 6 PM CST this evening

* Another 1 to 2 inches of rain on already saturated grounds could
  lead to additional flooding through the remainder of this
  morning and this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
