...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR
NORTHERN LINCOLN AND SOUTHEASTERN PAYNE COUNTIES...

At 1224 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Localized rainfall amounts in
excess of two inches have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected
to begin shortly.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch are possible in the
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
