* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  STEELE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
  SOUTHEASTERN BLUE EARTH COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
  SOUTHERN RICE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
  SOUTHWESTERN GOODHUE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA...
  WASECA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

* UNTIL 600 AM CDT

* AT 123 AM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED MANY
  FLOODED ROADS AND BASEMENTS ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. WIDESPREAD 3
  TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS BETWEEN 7
  AND 9 INCHES IN THE WASECA AREA. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
  RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. FLASH FLOODING IS
  ALREADY OCCURRING.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  OWATONNA...FARIBAULT...WASECA...PINE ISLAND...ZUMBROTA...
  JANESVILLE...KENYON...MAPLETON...MEDFORD...WANAMINGO...
  MORRISTOWN AND ST. CLAIR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.
