The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Rain and Snowmelt in...
  Tetlin Village Road...

* Until 430 PM AKDT Sunday

* Water levels on the Tanana River have fallen over 3 feet since
  Tuesday. The river is no longer flowing overbank and into low
  lying areas near the Tetlin Village Road, although a large area of
  ponded water still exists. It may take many days or longer for the
  water to drain this area and make the Tetlin Village Road
  passable. Flooding continues at mile 5.3 of the Tetlin Village
  Road with the road remaining impassible to many vehicles. Water
  levels have also receded near mile 1305 to 1307 of the Alaska
  Highway and there are no impacts to the Alaska highway.

* Residents should use caution while traveling the Tetlin Village
  Road and avoid driving into water of unknown depth.
