...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM MDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL ELBERT COUNTY...

AT 343 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY RAIN HAD MOVED
OUT OF THE ADVISORY AREA. A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS CAN STILL BE
EXPECTED THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON...BUT FOR THE MOST PART HEAVY RAIN
HAD COME TO AN END.  TOTAL RAINFALL EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON RANGE
BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES IN A NARROW AREA FROM WEST OF CEDAR POINT TO
ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF MATHESON AND SIMLA.

THIS FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EAST CENTRAL
ELBERT COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
