...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Pee Dee River At Cheraw affecting Chesterfield and Marlboro Counties

  Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Fairfield...Kershaw and
  Lancaster Counties

.Heavy rain over the past two days is resulting in rises on area rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning extended for
  The Pee Dee River At Cheraw.
* from this evening to Friday afternoon...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  3 AM Tuesday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening and
 Crest around 35.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
 The river will fall below flood stage by early Thursday afternoon.
* At 36.0 feet...Extensive overflow of the left bank will occur and
  large areas of farmland near Cheraw will be flooded. Livestock and
  farm equipment should be moved to higher ground.

The Flood Warning extended for
  The Wateree River At Lake Wateree.
* from this morning to Friday evening...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  2 AM Tuesday the stage was 99.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this morning and
  continue to rise to 101.4 feet tomorrow morning. The river will
  fall below flood stage Thursday night.

* At 100.5 feet...Several yards and docks in low lying areas around
  Lake Wateree begin to flood.
