...URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN TERRY AND SOUTHWESTERN LYNN COUNTIES UNTIL 1100 PM
CDT...

AT 1006 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. ESTIMATED
RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR INCHES HAVE FALLEN ON FARM
TO MARKET ROAD 213 BETWEEN NEW MOORE AND UNION AND ALSO ALONG STATE
HIGHWAY 137 SOUTHEAST OF UNION. RAIN HAS MOSTLY TAPERED OFF AND ANY
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL BE LIGHT.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...NEW
MOORE AND UNION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
