* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHERN BLOUNT COUNTY IN EAST TENNESSEE...
  MCMINN COUNTY IN EAST TENNESSEE...
  MONROE COUNTY IN EAST TENNESSEE...

* UNTIL 130 PM EDT

* AT 1136 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
  DUE TO SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING
  IN THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  ATHENS...SWEETWATER...MADISONVILLE...ETOWAH...ENGLEWOOD...VONORE...
  TELLICO PLAINS...NIOTA...MOUNT VERNON...TARIFFVILLE...CITICO...
  HILLSVIEW...CITICO BEACH...TALASSEE...CLEAR WATER AND RICEVILLE.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 INCH IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
