The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  A potential Ice Blockage Southeastern St. Clair County in
  southeastern Michigan...

* Until 800 AM EST Monday

* At 800 AM EST, the water level at the St Clair gauge has quickly
  risen to 579.3 feet. At these levels flooding is expected along
  the St Clair River.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Port Huron, St. Clair, Algonac, Marine City, Harsens Island and
  Pearl Beach.

At the observed level, multiple roadways are impacted by flooding
near the St Clair River. Additionally, many homes and structures may
become threatened. The current flooding is due to a potential ice
blockage on the St Clair River aided by strong northerly flow. Given
the much colder air in place, conditions will remain favorable for
ice blockages through Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
