Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
259 PM EDT Wed Mar 29 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure building down from the Great Lakes will
keep generally dry conditions with a weak air flow through much of
tonight. A frontal boundary will slowly approach from the south as
a warm front Thursday.

Poor dispersion is expected this evening through early Thursday
morning. However, increasing cloudiness and weak low-level mixing
late tonight will inhibit fog development.

Surface winds Thursday will be from the east around 5 mph after
daybreak, then become southeast around 10 mph by early afternoon.
Transport winds will become southeast at 15 to 20 mph. Relative
humidities will remain generally above 50 percent, with an increase
in low-level moisture from the Atlantic.
