Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
311 AM EST Sat Dec 16 2017

.DISCUSSION...Conditions will remain dry across the area through
Sunday afternoon as high pressure builds into the region. This
high will slip to our east late Sunday and Sunday night, allowing
some moisture return and a chance of rain Sunday night into Monday.
Minimum RH values this afternoon will fall to around 30 percent.
Winds near the surface will be generally light and variable.
Transport winds in the mixed layer will be light and out of the
east this morning, then turn out of the southwest into the afternoon.
Fog is not expected during the overnight and early morning hours
due to the dry airmass in place.
