Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
510 AM EDT Wed Oct 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A warming trend will return above average temperatures through
the upcoming weekend with no rainfall expected. With several days
of unseasonably warm temperatures and no rainfall, fine fuels may
cure to near critical moisture levels. Minimum RH is forecast to
be in the 40 to 50 percent range through late week but some spots
may drop into the 30s. Southwest winds will increase on Thursday
with gusts up to 20 mph over the Alleghenies. The dry spell will
end early next week, followed by a cooler weather pattern leading
up to Halloween.
