.DISCUSSION...

Gusty southerly winds will persist through the afternoon, but RH
values will remain well above critical thresholds. Scattered
thunderstorms are likely north of HWY 36 tonight, with another
couple rounds of storms across northeast Kansas and northern
Missouri Thursday. Fire weather concerns are minimal through
Friday.
