FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
153 PM CDT FRI OCT 31 2014

.DISCUSSION...
DRY WEATHER WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND AS HIGH
PRESSURE DOMINATES THE WEATHER PATTERN. DESPITE DRY
CONDITIONS...WEAK 20 FOOT WIND SPEEDS SHOULD PREVENT WIDESPREAD FIRE
CONCERNS FROM DEVELOPING ON SATURDAY. BY SUNDAY...WINDS SHOULD BEGIN
TO INCREASE AS SOUTHERLY FLOW RETURNS TO THE AREA. THIS COMBINED WITH
DRY 10-HR FUELS MAY LEAD TO AN INCREASE FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ACROSS
THE AREA. RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A STRONG
FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVES THROUGH THE AREA.
