.DISCUSSION...

A strong cold front will move across the area this morning. Gusty
westerly winds behind it with strongest winds to 50 mph over
northeastern North Dakota into the northern Red River valley.
Gusts to 40 mph elsewhere. Low humidity values as well dropping
into the 20 percent range many areas. The winds will diminish
quickly early this evening and humidity values will recover.

Fire weather watches were upgraded to red flag warnings for NE
ND/NW MN with Special weather statement issued for critical fire
weather conditions west central Minnesota.

Temperatures will warm up Thursday and Friday with southerly
winds.  But humidity values will not be nearly as low.
