FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE Goodland KS
451 AM MDT Fri Sep 22 2017

.DISCUSSION... Elevated fire weather conditions are expected for
locations along and west of the Colorado. Southerly winds of 20 to 30
mph with gusts to 40 mph are expected. However, low level moisture is
expected to increase during the day. So the lowest relative
humidities will not coincide with the strongest winds.

Otherwise a much cooler and wetter period from tonight and especially
from Saturday into Monday is expected across the entire area.
Rainfall amounts of at least 1 to 3 inches could occur during this
time. Tuesday into Wednesday will be dry but still much cooler. Rain
chances return Wednesday night into Thursday with continued cool
temperatures.
