Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Southeast Texas
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
520 AM CST Wed Jan 24 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Moderate recovery this morning followed by dry conditions again
today. High pressure over North Central Texas early this morning
will move southeast into East Texas This afternoon. Winds will be
light today though a little stronger over the coastal counties.
The high pressure system moves east Thursday continuing the dry
afternoon conditions but with a little better recovery tonight.
Moisture levels ramp up dramatically Friday along with the cloud
cover. A cold front should move through the region Saturday
afternoon with a chance of showers. Low RH readings and light to
moderate northerly winds Sunday could lead to elevated fire
weather conditions for areas that do not receive much rainfall with
the front.
