FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
525 AM CDT TUE JUL 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...
THE UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO SLIDE BACK WEST IN THE GULF
PROVIDING MOISTURE DUE TO A SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT LEAVING
FAIR DISPERSIONS. WEDNESDAY THE WINDS BECOME WESTERLY AND
LIGHT...FURTHER DECREASING THE DISPERSION CATEGORIES TO GENERALLY
POOR. THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL IN THE FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY AND WILL
INCREASE IN COVERAGE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES.
