Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
222 PM CDT Wed Mar 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Cooler and dry north to northeast flow will continue through
Thursday morning, turning to the southeast and south during the
day Thursday into Thursday night. Intervals of mid and high
level clouds will persist during this time, but no rainfall is
expected. On Friday, as flow turns more southerly and increases,
warmer air will move into the region. Smoke dispersion will be
fair to generally good on Thursday, and generally good on Friday.

A vigorous upper level system will bring a couple waves of showers
and thunderstorms to the region Saturday. A few of these storms
will be strong with gusty winds and small hail possible.

Fog potential over the next few days: Fog is not anticipated over
the next several days.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag criteria are not
anticipated over the next several days.
