INTO THURSDAY...

.DISCUSSION...LOOK FOR A COLD FRONT TO SLOWLY MOVE THROUGH THE
REGION THIS EVENING. WITH THIS...THE RAIN WILL GIVE WAY TO SLEET
INITIALLY AND THEN SNOW FOR MOST AREAS BY 3 AM. SNOW WILL
THEN CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT BEFORE ENDING DURING THE DAY
THURSDAY. THIS WILL LEAVE BEHIND SNOWFALL AMOUNTS RANGING FROM
THREE INCHES IN FAR SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY TO NEAR A FOOT IN SOME
LOCATIONS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 64. FIVE TO EIGHT INCHES OF SNOW
WILL BE COMMON THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL COAL FIELDS.
