FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPOKANE WA
242 PM PDT THU JUL 24 2014

.DISCUSSION...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER SOUTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA SHOULD EXIT
TO THE EAST TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR CLOUDS AND ASSOCIATED
LIGHT SHOWERS TO DECREASE OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW AND FOR GUSTY
WINDS TO SUBSIDE SOME. FRIDAY MAY VERY WELL BE BREEZY AND GUSTY IN
THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING AND CUMULUS WILL FILL THE SKIES TO
SOME EXTENT BUT NOT TO THE DEGREE THAT CLOUDS DID ON THURSDAY.
COOL TEMPERATURES AND MOIST RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL REMAIN WITH A
GRADUAL WARMING TREND TAKING US BACK TO SEASONABLE NORMALS ON
SATURDAY WHICH IS QUICKLY FOLLOWED WITH FURTHER WARMING AND DRYING
TAKING US BACK TO HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WITH TEMPERATURES WELL
ABOVE NORMAL SUNDAY AND THIS TREND CONTINUES THROUGH MUCH IF NOT
ALL OF THE NEXT WORKWEEK.
