Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
237 PM PDT Sat Jun 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...

...HAINES 5 AND 6 ON SUNDAY...
...POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS ON MONDAY...
...GUSTY WINDS WITH LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY MONDAY AND TUESDAY...

Hot and dry conditions will continue on Sunday. The atmosphere
will also be quite unstable promoting haines indices of 5 and 6.
Winds will also increase on Monday afternoon and evening,
continuing on Tuesday. The winds coupled with low humidity will
bring the potential for rapid fire spread with any new starts.
Temperatures cool back to normal Wednesday and Thursday then warm
again by the week. There are a few chances for showers or
thunderstorms in the Idaho Panhandle and southeastern WA but
overall, a dry pattern is expected for the Inland Northwest.
