Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
525 AM PDT Wed Oct 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Rain and high elevation snow will be on the increase today and
Thursday as a warm front moves into the region. This will be a
very wet storm system as abundant moisture moves into the region
from off the Pacific. A cold front will follow on Friday and this
will allow temperatures to cool with a better chance for mountain
snow. Winds will remain elevated today and Thursday and become
gusty again on Friday with the cold front passage. This wet
period is expected to last through Sunday, then conditions will
begin to warm and dry Monday through Wednesday.
