PM MDT FOR GUSTY WINDS...LOW HUMIDITY AND DRY FUELS FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONES 222...223 AND 224 WHICH INCLUDES FREMONT COUNTY...
THE SAN LUIS VALLEY...THE SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS AND THE LA GARITA

.Discussion...

Gusty southwest winds combined with low humidity values and dry
fuels will allow for red flag conditions to occur across the
southwest mountains, the San Luis Valley and Fremont county.

By early this evening, a cold front will push south down the
plains bring increasing humidity values and cooler weather down
to the lower elevations.

For tomorrow, cooler and moister air will be over the plains.
In the mountains, winds will decrease significantly although it
still will be dry.

Smoke dispersion will be excellent this afternoon across the
entire district. Smoke dispersion will be excellent tomorrow
afternoon across the mountains and valleys, but only fair
across the plains.
