Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
405 PM CDT Wed Apr 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Stormy afternoon with a squall line in the heart of the ArkLaTex
at this time. This is a fast moving system that will bring wetting
rain to many locales since lunch time and through midnight at the
latest. The cold front behind the strong upper low will be weak
and brief with North winds overnight, shifting quickly back to SE
early tomorrow and not much speed being weak. The Southerly winds
will resume windy conditions Friday and Saturday ahead our next
more potent system and cold front that will bring in some good
Northerly flow for a change Sunday and early next week. Greater
potential for more of a rain event too this weekend.
