Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Topeka KS
1104 AM CDT Thu Mar 23 2017

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

Extreme fire danger conditions are expected to continue through
the evening hours despite minimum relative humidity values
in the middle 30 percent range this afternoon. The combination
of wind gusts in the 35-45 MPH and dry fuels will create extreme
fire danger conditions. These extreme fire conditions may persist
into the overnight hours as wind gusts will remain in the 35-45
MPH range and possibly stronger. Any fire will become out of
control very quickly!
