...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...

Today precipitation should come to an end by the early afternoon
hours with drier air moving into the fire district. On Tuesday,
very warm temperatures and low relative humidity in the teens to
mid 20s percent will result in very high or extreme fire
behavior. Winds will be the limiting factor on Tuesday as they
may just remain low enough to limit the potential for a red flag
in north central Kansas. However a fire weather watch is in effect
for Tuesday afternoon. Elevated fire danger is possible on
Wednesday and will be complicated by a frontal boundary shifting
the winds from southwest to northwest.
