FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
359 PM CDT THU APR 24 2014

RED FLAG...NONE.

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH THROUGH THE REGION THIS
AFTERNOON WITH THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT. SOME OF
THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL
AND STRONG WINDS BEING THE MAIN HAZARDS. BEHIND THE EXITING COLD
FRONT TONIGHT...CLEARING SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. SOUTHERLY WINDS QUICKLY
RETURN FRIDAY WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES. THESE CONDITIONS WILL
ALLOW FOR AREAS OF HIGH FIRE DANGER ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA FRIDAY. WARMER TEMPERATURES AND BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS
CONTINUE ON SATURDAY WITH AREAS OF FIRE WEATHER DANGER POSSIBLE
AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING DRYLINE AND COLD FRONT. THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES BECOME POSSIBLE AGAIN SATURDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE SUNDAY
AND SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE THE COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION.
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WILL
HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO QUICKLY BECOME SEVERE WITH ALL MODES OF
SEVERE WEATHER...INCLUDING TORNADOES...POSSIBLE.
