.DISCUSSION...
A long period of gusty northwest winds will remain over the region
through the week. These winds will be strong with little day/night
changes beyond 50 miles from the coast which will generate a consist
short-period swell near the coast. Winds in the San Pedro Channel
will weaken each night and morning, but will be gusty in the
afternoon and evening hours. Small Craft Advisory conditions are
likely on Wednesday, with Gale Warning conditions possible on
Thursday.

Surface winds.......Southeast 5 kt becoming west 15-20 kt in the afternoon.
Swell height........West 4-5 feet.
Swell period........8 seconds.

Surface winds.......Northwest 5-10 kt becoming 20-30 kt in the afternoon.
Swell height........West 4-5 feet building to 7-8 feet in the afternoon.
