THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AND
ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS AND SURROUNDING
COASTAL WATERS THROUGH TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD WILL
BE LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS AND SURROUNDING
COASTAL WATERS WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM
HAZARD WILL BE CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING STRIKES.

A STRONG TROPICAL WAVE MOVING WEST NORTHWESTWARD THROUGH THE LESSER
ANTILLES IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO TRACK WEST NORTHWESTWARD INTO THE
CENTRAL BAHAMAS THIS WEEKEND. CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE
CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT. THIS SYSTEM HAS A 60 PERCENT CHANCE OF
FORMING A TROPICAL DEPRESSION THROUGH 48 HOURS, AND A 80 PERCENT
CHANCE THROUGH 5 DAYS.

WHILE IT IS TOO EARLY TO TELL WHAT IMPACTS, IF ANY, THIS SYSTEM WILL
HAVE ON THE FLORIDA KEYS, RESIDENTS AND VISITORS SHOULD CONTINUE TO
CLOSELY MONITOR THE FORECAST OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND STAY ALERT TO
ANY CHANGES.
