This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices of 105 to 109 degrees are expected along and west of
the Mississippi River today. A Heat Advisory is in effect for
this afternoon through early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Heat indices of 105 to 109 degrees are expected along and west of
the Mississippi River for Wednesday. A Heat Advisory is in effect
for most areas along and west of the Mississippi River for
tomorrow. This advisory may need to be expanded into Thursday.

A cold front is forecast to move across the Mid-South Thursday
night into Friday, bringing a chance for a few strong to severe
thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.

Spotter activation may be possible Thursday night and into Friday.
