  COASTAL WATERS FROM HIGH ISLAND TO FREEPORT TX OUT 20 NM...
  WATERS FROM HIGH ISLAND TO FREEPORT TX FROM 20 TO 60 NM...

AT 124 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED OVER GALVESTON 282...MOVING EAST AT 10 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...
AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE
WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED IF THIS STORM INTENSIFIES.
BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE BEFORE THE STORM ARRIVES.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. IF CAUGHT ON THE
