The areas affected include...
  Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to
  mid-line of lake....
  Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
  New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

At 1259 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from near Kenosha to 37 nm south of Winthrop Harbor to 65
nm southwest of Michigan City, moving northeast at 40 knots. An
isolated thunderstorm will also be possible as this line of showers
moves across southern Lake Michigan through 300 AM EST.

A period of west gale wind gusts is then expected late tonight into
Sunday morning as a cold front tracks across southern Lake Michigan.

Locations impacted include...
New Buffalo, St. Joseph and Michigan City.


Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and isolated lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until these showers and isolated storms pass.
