  COASTAL WATERS FROM PORT FOURCHON LA TO LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER LA
  OUT 20 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM THE SOUTHWEST PASS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER TO
  PORT FOURCHON LOUISIANA OUT 20 NM...

AT 745 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 NM SOUTH OF
YSCLOSKEY TO 13 NM NORTH OF BARATARIA BAY TO 22 NM SOUTH OF
KENNER... MOVING SOUTH AT 15 KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY BE NEAR... NORTHERN PORTION OF
BARATARIA BAY AROUND 830 PM...SOUTHWEST PASS OF MISSISSIPPI RIVER
AROUND 900 PM CDT AND GRAND ISLE AROUND 915 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 34 KNOTS...AND IS LIKELY TO POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR
BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED WHEN THESE
STORMS REACH THE NEARSHORE WATERS. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING
FOR SHORE BEFORE THESE STORMS ARRIVE.
