.STRONG AND UNSTABLE SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL DEVELOP AS HIGH PRESSURE
SHIFTS SOUTH OF THE AREA ON WEDNESDAY. GUSTS TO MARGINAL GALES ARE
PROBABLE OVER MOST LAKE HURON, INCLUDING SAGINAW BAY AND THE
NORTHERN NEARSHORE WATERS OF THE THUMB. GUSTS TO STRONG GALES ARE
ANTICIPATED OVER THE CENTRAL OPEN WATERS. GALE WARNINGS ARE IN
EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE CENTRAL CORRIDOR OF THE LAKE...INCLUDING OUTER
SAGINAW BAY. EPISODES OF FRESH TO STRONG SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL BE
COMMON FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK WHILE GUST POTENTIAL
DIMINISHES OWING TO INCREASINGLY WARM STABLE FETCH.

WARNING WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM EST WEDNESDAY.

* WIND AND WAVES: DURING THE GALE WARNING...EXPECT SUSTAINED
  WINDS UP TO 34 KNOTS FROM THE SOUTHWEST WITH GUSTS UP TO 44
  KNOTS. THE LARGEST EXPECTED SIGNIFICANT WAVES WILL BE 10 FEET
  WITH A POTENTIAL MAXIMUM WAVE HEIGHT OF 14 FEET.

* TIMING: THE MAXIMUM WINDS ARE EXPECTED AROUND 5 PM EST
  WEDNESDAY WITH THE LARGEST WAVES EXPECTED AROUND 6 PM EST
  WEDNESDAY.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
