.NOW...
A large area of showers with embedded thunderstorms will move
across the area during the middle to late morning hours. At 855
am, the leading edge of the showers extended from Eagle River to
Crandon to Shawano to Appleton to Chilton. The showers were
spreading northeast at around 35 mph, and will expand across the
remainder of northeast Wisconsin and the Lakeshore in the next
couple hours. The rain won`t be continuous, but on and off showers
are expected across the area for the rest of the morning and into
the early afternoon. The embedded thunderstorms could produce
brief heavy rains, but are not expected to be severe.

The showers will diminish by mid-afternoon, but showers and
thunderstorms are likely to re-develop during the late afternoon
and evening hours. The severe potential with the late afternoon
and evening storms will depend on how much temperatures are able
to warm in the wake of the morning showers.
