Through 300 pm, isolated showers, and a few thunderstorms will move
west around 10 knots across the Florida Keys and surrounding
nearshore and offshore waters. On land, most of the activity will be
concentrated along the Lower Keys, from Big Coppitt to Bahia Honda
Key. Mariners and residents encountering these showers can expected
wind gusts near 25 knots and visibilities reduced to below 3 miles in
moderate to heavy rainfall, as well as a few possible cloud to
surface lightning strikes.
