...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST THURSDAY...

* LOCATION...IN VALLEYS FROM FAIRBANKS TO NORTH POLE.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES IN DENSE ICE FOG.

* TIMING...AREAS OF DENSE ICE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON. ICE FOG HAS IMPROVED AT EIELSON WHERE TEMPERATURES
  HAVE WARMED SLIGHTLY DUE TO CLOUD COVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES ARE FREQUENTLY REDUCED TO
NEAR ZERO. REDUCE VEHICLE SPEED WHEN DRIVING AND USE LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS.
