West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Hurricane Gert was located E of
the area near 41.7N 54.0W at 5 am this morning while moving
east-northeast or 65 degrees at 34 kt, and will move well NE of
the area early today. See the latest National Hurricane Center
advisory for Gert. Otherwise, a weak stationary front across the
central waters will persist today and tonight, then slowly lift
NE through the waters as a warm front Fri and Sat night. A high
pres ridge will build just N of the area Thu and Thu night, then
shift NE of the area Fri and Fri night. A weak cold front will
push SE into the NW portion Sat and Sat night, then continue to
move slowly SE across the N and central waters Sun into Sun night
before stalling across the central waters Mon and Mon night.
Another ridge will build E over the N waters Mon and Mon night.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
