For the Palo Duro Creek...the following locations are included...
Spearman 6W.

.Over 3 inches of rain have fallen upstream of the gage site early
Friday morning. The runoff from the heavy rain has caused a
significant rise on the creek. The creek is expected
to rise to around 14 feet by early this afternoon.

For the Palo Duro Creek 6 miles west of Spearman.
* Latest stage: 11.2 feet at 11 AM Saturday.
* Flood stage: 20.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 9.0 feet.
At 9.0 feet...The creek is at bankfull stage. Some minor overbank
flooding occurs and cattle in the floodplain may be threatened.
At 12.0 feet...Moderate overbank flooding occurs. Cattle are
threatened and damage to fences is possible.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
