...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM
AND IN THE MUSCODA AREA...

RUNOFF FROM MELTING SNOW OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS AS WELL AS RECENT
RAINFALL IS RESULTING IN HIGH WATER ALONG THE WISCONSIN RIVER. NO
FLOODING IS EXPECTED AROUND THE CASTLE ROCK DAM AREA...OR IN THE
MUSCODA AREA. HOWEVER...WATER LEVELS WILL BE WITHIN A FEW FEET OF
FLOOD STAGE.

THE LATEST RIVER FORECAST INFORMATION IS INCLUDED BELOW.

WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...THE FLOW SATURDAY MORNING WAS
13324.00 CFS. FLOODING BEGINS AT 30000 CFS. THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO
REMAIN NEAR 13000 CFS THROUGH SUNDAY...THEN DROP TO AROUND 11000 CFS
EARLY NEXT WEEK.

WISCONSIN RIVER AT MUSCODA...THE STAGE SATURDAY MORNING WAS 7.18
FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 9.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO
FALL OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
