...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued
a Hydrologic Statement in cooperation with the California Department
of Water Resources for the following rivers in California...

  Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt COUNTY

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

local TV or radio stations.

The next statement will be issued January 20 at 10 am or as
warranted by changing conditions.

* The Eel River At Fernbridge forecast to rise above Monitor Stage.
* At 02:15 AM Friday the stage was...13.4 feet
* No flooding is forecast.
* Monitor Stage is 14.0 feet, Flood Stage is 20.0 feet.
* This river is forecast to reach monitor stage of 14.0 ft early Saturday
  morning  then fall to near 13 ft early sunday morning.  The river will then
  rise to near  14.0 ft late sunday evening then forecast to fluctuate near 14.0 ft
  thru early monday morning.
