HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
944 AM EDT SUN MAR 26 2017

The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.0
feet at 9 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.7 feet tomorrow evening.  Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

For the Red Cedar River At East Lansing... the latest stage was 4.8
feet at 9 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.7 feet Tuesday evening.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.  At
6.0 feet... River reaches bankfull and low lying areas flood..

For the Maple River At Maple Rapids... the latest stage was 5.6 feet
at 9 AM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.3 feet Wednesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 9.0
feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
