...A crest near flood stage is forecast for the following locations
along the Brazos River...

  For the Brazos River at Seymour...

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* The latest stage was 1.96 feet at 9 AM Tuesday.

* The Brazos River is forecast to crest near 11.6 feet
  Thursday evening.

* Impact...When the Brazos River reaches 12.0 feet at Seymour...
  Shallow and short duration flooding affects low-lying areas along
  and near the river in Knox and Baylor counties.



  People in flood prone areas should continue to monitor water
  levels...and be prepared to seek higher ground should water levels
  rise suddenly.  Stay tuned for further information by listening to
  weather radio or local media sources.
