AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE AND ASSOCIATED FRONTAL BOUNDARIES WILL PUSH
ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS FOR TODAY AND TONIGHT...BRINGING SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE REGION
DURING THE PERIOD. WINDS WILL BECOME QUITE STRONG WITH THIS
SYSTEM...AND WIND ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF THE
REGION FOR TODAY.

THERE WILL BE A WIDE RANGE OF TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE REGION FOR
THIS AFTERNOON...WITH HIGHS RANGING FROM NEAR 50 OVER NORTHERN AND
EASTERN MINNESOTA...TO THE MID AND UPPER 70S THROUGH SOUTH CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA INTO THE EASTERN TWO THIRDS OF NEBRASKA. LOWS TONIGHT
WILL BE IN THE 30S IN THE NORTH AND WEST...TO AS WARM AS THE LOWER
50S OVER SOUTHWESTERN IOWA.
