LATE MORNING SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWESTERN INDIANA. EARLY MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES WERE
AROUND 32 DEGREES AND SOME AREAS REPORTED PATCHY FROST. LATE
MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID TO UPPER 40S...EXCEPT IN THE
LOWER 40S ALONG THE LAKE SHORE.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES DURING THE
THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY AS LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES THE AREA FROM
THE CENTRAL PLAINS. CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE AND SHOWERS
WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE AFTERNOON ALONG I-39 AND WEST. AFTERNOON
HIGHS WILL PRIMARILY BE IN THE MID AND UPPER 50S INLAND...WITH
ONSHORE WINDS THROUGH THE DAY KEEPING AREAS NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN IN
THE LOWER AND MID 40S. THE CHANCE FOR RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
ON THURSDAY AS LOW PRESSURE AND ITS ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT TRACK
ACROSS THE REGION. HIGHS THURSDAY WILL BE IN THE LOWER 60S NORTH
TO THE UPPER 60S SOUTH. FRIDAY WILL SEE PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND
MILD CONDITIONS TO CLOSE OUT THE WORK WEEK AS HIGHS REACH THE
UPPER 60S AND LOWER 70S.
