DURING THE MORNING HOURS...THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA REGION EXPERIENCED MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WITH WARM CONDITIONS
WITH TEMPERATURES CLIMBING THROUGH THE 70S TOWARD THE 80 DEGREE
MARK...BUT REMAINING IN THE 60S ALONG THE IMMEDIATE LAKE
MICHIGAN SHORE.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING THE REGION DRY AND MILD
CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES PEAK IN THE LOW TO MID 80S
INLAND...BUT ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE REMAIN IN THE 60S.
CLOUDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS TOWARDS MORNING MAINLY ACROSS NORTHWEST AND NORTH
CENTRAL ILLINOIS. WARM AND MORE HUMID CONDITIONS...WITH PERIODS OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE ENTIRE REGION...ARE EXPECTED
FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT AHEAD AND ALONG A COLD FRONT. THE RAIN
ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY AS THE FRONT PASSES AND BRINGS WINDY
AND MUCH COOLER CONDITIONS. DRY BUT COOL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED
ON SUNDAY.
