THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SAW PARTLY TO
MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES DURING THE MORNING HOURS. BY LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS
AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

QUIET WEATHER CAN BE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AS BRISK SOUTHERLY HELP
BOOST TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID TO UPPER 30S. THEN...THE CLOUDS WILL
BE INCREASING DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AS A STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES
FROM THE NORTHWEST. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING THE CHANCES FOR RAIN
SHOWERS TONIGHT POSSIBLY TURNING TO A RAIN AND SNOW MIX THURSDAY
MORNING AND AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT PASSES. BEHIND THE FRONT...
QUIET WEATHER BUT COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION FOR
THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY.
