THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
  EASTERN COLORADO
  WESTERN KANSAS
  PARTS OF WESTERN NEBRASKA
  NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO
  THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE
  NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE

* EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 115 PM UNTIL
  800 PM MDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
  SCATTERED LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2
    INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
  SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
  A TORNADO OR TWO POSSIBLE

SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS
EASTERN COLORADO AND ADJACENT AREAS...WITH ADDITIONAL INCREASES IN
STORM COVERAGE AND INTENSITY FORECAST OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.
RISK FOR LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL IS EXPECTED TO
EVOLVE...WITH WIND RISK POSSIBLY INCREASING LATER THIS AFTERNOON
GIVEN POTENTIAL FOR STORMS TO GROW UPSCALE LINEARLY.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 95
STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 60 MILES NORTH
NORTHEAST OF AKRON COLORADO TO 20 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF CLAYTON
