WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 25N FROM 130E TO 180.

A COLD FRONT EXTENDS FROM THE NORTH PACIFIC SOUTHWESTWARD TO NORTH
OF WAKE ISLAND NEAR 25N167E TO 21N160E THEN CONTINUES WEST-
SOUTHWESTWARD AS A SHEAR LINE TO NEAR SAIPAN AT 15N145E TO 12N130E
THEN FARTHER WEST. CLOUDS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE SEEN ALONG AND UP
TO 200 MILES NORTH OF THIS BOUNDARY WITH AN EXTENSIVE AREA OF OPEN
CELLULAR CONVECTION EXTENDING NORTHWARD TO 25N AND BEYOND.

CONFLUENCE OF TRADE WINDS IS COMBINING WITH UPPER-LEVEL DIVERGENCE
TO PRODUCE A LONG LINE OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN 90 MILES OF A LINE FROM 8N156E TO 6N163E TO
4N167E TO 4N174E. THIS IS NEAR POHNPEI AND KOSRAE BUT SOUTH OF THE
MARSHALL ISLANDS.

A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE IS CENTERED SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK NEAR EQ147E.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND NORTH OF
THE CENTER BETWEEN 5N AND 9N FROM 144E TO 156E...INCLUDING CHUUK
AND EASTERN YAP STATE. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE ALSO FOUND WEST OF
THE CENTER BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 8N FROM 135E TO 143E INCLUDING
SOUTHERN YAP STATE.
