DUNN...NORTHWESTERN MCLEAN...MCKENZIE...CENTRAL WILLIAMS...SOUTHERN
MOUNTRAIL AND WESTERN MERCER COUNTIES UNTIL 915 AM CDT/815 AM MDT/...

At 834 AM CDT/734 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Roseglen, or 26 miles west of
Garrison, moving southeast at 25 mph. A line of storms were
continuing from Culbertson Montana in Roosevelt county, eastward
along the Missouri river and Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota.

Half inch hail and frequent lightning will be possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Williston, Watford City, Killdeer, New Town, Parshall, Zap,
Alexander, Halliday, Golden Valley, Plaza, Makoti, Dunn Center,
Arnegard, Epping, Dodge, Ryder, Douglas, Roseglen, Bonetrail and Van
Hook Park.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms.

If you are on or near Lake Sakakawea, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Do not be caught on the
water in a thunderstorm.
