...LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS INCREASING THIS EVENING OVER THE SOUTH
SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR...

THROUGH 10 PM...LIGHT LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO
SLOWLY INCREASE IN COVERAGE ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR
BETWEEN SUPERIOR AND IRONWOOD MICHIGAN. OVERALL SNOWFALL RATES
WILL BE LIGHT...SO MAJOR IMPACTS TO ROAD CONDITIONS...VISIBILITY AND
TRAVEL ARE NOT EXPECTED. HOWEVER...A FEW OF THE FAVORED LAKE
EFFECT SNOW LOCATIONS SUCH AS THE GOGEBIC RANGE ALONG HIGHWAY
77...AND THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE BAYFIELD PENINSULA INLAND FROM
BAYFIELD AND WASHBURN COULD SEE BETWEEN A HALF INCH AND AN INCH OF
ACCUMULATION THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING. PERIODS OF LAKE EFFECT
SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
