...LOCALLY DENSE FOG IN THE PIEDMONT THROUGH 3 AM...

IN THE VICINITY OF A NEARLY STATIONARY FRONT DRAPED ACROSS THE
WESTERN CAROLINAS...DENSE FOG HAS FORMED IN SOME PARTS OF THE
NORTH CAROLINA FOOTHILLS AND PIEDMONT AS WELL AS THE EASTERN
PORTION OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA. RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THESE
AREAS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. AS RAINFALL RATES
INCREASE...THE FOG SHOULD DISSIPATE TO SOME DEGREE.
HOWEVER...DRIVERS ON AREA ROADWAYS SHOULD USE EXTREME
CAUTION...AND BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY
PARTICULARLY IN LOW LYING AREAS. LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS SHOULD BE
USED WHEN DRIVING IN FOG.
