...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN LAUDERDALE AND
NORTHWESTERN COLBERT COUNTIES UNTIL 530 AM CDT...

At 503 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cherokee, or 9 miles east of Iuka. This storm was nearly stationary.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cherokee, Malone, Mt Hester, Wright, Riverton, Barton, Red Rock and
Margerum.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
