...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 1 PM FOR THE SOUTHERN BIG
COUNTRY AND NORTHERN CONCHO VALLEY...

Emergency Management from Sweetwater reported about an inch of
snow on the south side of Sweetwater at about 840 AM. And also
said, roads were becoming slick. Texas Department of
transportation reported ice on bridges and overpasses between Big
Spring and Sterling City on U.S. Highway 87. Also, ice was
reported on bridges and overpasses between Blackwell and
Sweetwater.

Sleet was reported in the San Angelo and surrounding areas as of 9
this morning. About a 1/2 inch or more snow was reported 10 miles
southwest of Robert Lee. This wintry precipitation will continue
through Noon and will result in icy bridges and overpasses.

Please slow down when you approach a bridge or overpass.
