A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE TODAY WILL RESULT IN SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE REGION. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE STRONG
TO SEVERE, PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE EASTERN THIRD OF THE AREA. RAIN
CHANCES WILL RAPIDLY DIMINISH FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST THROUGH
THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS, WITH ALL AREAS DRY BY EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING. DRIER AND COOLER AIR WILL THEN INFILTRATE THE
REGION, RESULTING IN BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE
WEEKEND. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE LOWER 80S WITH
LOWS DIPPING INTO THE 50S MANY NIGHTS. HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL BE
UNSEASONABLY LOW AS WELL MAKING IT FEEL LIKE EARLY FALL. OUR NEXT
CHANCE OF RAIN LOOKS TO HOLD OFF UNTIL MONDAY.
