URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...VERY COLD WIND CHILLS THROUGH TUESDAY...

.A FRIGID AIR MASS WILL REMAIN OVER WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA THROUGH TUESDAY. WIND CHILLS WILL BE AS LOW AS 35 BELOW
ZERO. UNDER THESE CONDITIONS FROSTBITE TO EXPOSED SKIN WILL OCCUR
WITHIN 30 MINUTES.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY HAS BEEN POSTED FOR MOST OF WESTERN AND
CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH MID DAY TUESDAY. THE SOUTHWEST PART
OF THE STATE...BOWMAN...HETTINGER...MOTT...AND AMIDON...WILL NOT
BE AS COLD AT FIRST AND SO THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY THERE IS FROM
LATER MONDAY THROUGH MID DAY TUESDAY.

BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON THE WIND CHILLS WILL RISE ABOVE THE ADVISORY
CATEGORY ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA. HOWEVER ADVISORY CRITERIA
CHILLS MAY RETURN AGAIN TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. AN
ADDITIONAL ADVISORY OR AN EXTENSION OF THE CURRENT ADVISORY MAY
BE NEEDED.
