URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Denver CO
757 PM MST Fri Nov 17 2017

...WINTER STORM MOVING OUT OF THE MOUNTAINS OVERNIGHT...

.A strong Pacific jet stream and cold front that brought heavy
snow to the northern Colorado mountains this afternoon and early
evening will continue to drop southeast overnight. The heaviest
snow has ended, but light to moderate snowfall will continue much
of the night. The burst of heavy snow created wintry travel
conditions across most mountain areas, with some road closures
including Interstate 70. Conditions should improve overnight,
though some roads will likely remain icy in the morning. Travelers
should check for updates on road conditions and closures by
monitoring local media, calling 5 1 1, or visiting
www.cotrip.org.
